Vincle

It is a reflection on individual freedom and the bonds we build with others. The mural depicts two figures connected to each other by a network of cables that runs throughout the composition, while two small birds are placed at the centre as a symbol of unity and connection.

The work explores the tension between the need to be independent and, at the same time, to be part of something collective. The cables can be understood as the bonds, relationships and experiences that connect us to other people, influencing us but also supporting us. In this sense, Vincle celebrates our connection with others as an essential part of our identity, without this meaning that we must give up our own freedom.
