MIRALL

Mirall

It represents the relationship between two boys who coexist within a marine symbiosis, an unstable environment that symbolises society and human interconnectedness. Facing each other, both characters are portrayed as equals, despite their cultural differences.

One of them is made up of robotic parts, a recurring element in my work that invites reflection on what it means to be human in an increasingly technological society. Through this character, I seek to convey the message of being less automatic and rigid, placing greater importance on empathy, emotional connection and authenticity in a world where technology often distances us from one another or demands difficult adaptations.

The aquatic environment and the koi fish surrounding them reinforce the idea of harmony, balance and diversity, reminding us that cultural and sexual differences can coexist and enrich one another when they flow together within the same space.
